The Mysterious Orc Next Door

The massive and intimidating Orc who lives next door to me is shrouded in mystery. He works from the comfort of his own home and rarely ventures outside. When he does leave, he never bothers to button up his shirt, exposing his muscular chest, regardless of the weather conditions. The sight of him stomping towards his truck is enough to send small children and senior citizens scurrying away in fear, which I suppose explains his reticence.

However, today is Valentine's Day, and I'm concerned that the big fellow might be feeling lonely and dejected. Compared to his usual angry and growly demeanor, my neighbor seems even more agitated than normal, despite the recent addition of a delightful puppy to his household.

Since I find myself alone on this romantic holiday as well, I've decided to take a plate of my famous sugar cookies over to his place, in the hopes of lifting his spirits. Everyone has warned me against disturbing him, as they claim Orcs always choose their brides during the dark winter months. Yet, for some reason, this warning does not worry me in the slightest.
